“By promoting the renewal in the Holy Spirit we hope to awaken Christians to the fullness of their baptismal grace, including the charisms…Inspired by Mary’s words at Cana, ‘do whatever he tells you,’ we are open as a congregation to any ministry which will enable us to achieve this mission.” ~Rule of Life 1.11

Pastoring
We pastor three parishes which involves coordinating and training lay staff and volunteers, celebrating Masses, offering the other sacraments (Baptism, Confirmation, Reconciliation, Anointing of the Sick, and Matrimony), leading Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament, Rosaries, and much more.

Youth
We help children and teenagers grow in their faith in several contexts: LifeTeen, Steubenville conferences, the parish school, a Catholic high school, altar serving, and the Sons of the Beloved Disciple (a discernment event).

Charismatic Prayer Groups
We assist the charismatic prayer groups at our parishes and throughout the archdiocese. We host an annual Night of Renewal and lead Life in the Spirit Seminars to help Christians meet the Holy Spirit in a more profound way.

Music
We help people experience the presence of the Holy Spirit by leading praise and worship music both in prayer meetings and in the context of Eucharistic Adoration.

Young Adults
We formed two successive Catholic young adult groups in which each met for a few years. We have also led and assisted several pilgrimages to World Youth Day.

Healing Ministry
We celebrate a healing Mass once a month, lead healing retreats, and offer deliverance prayer for those who request it.

Retreats
We serve as chaplains and confessors for various retreats, such as ACTS retreats, one day retreats for men and women, family retreats, and youth retreats.

Faith-Sharing Groups
We train and assist small faith-sharing groups, such as parish cell groups and the Companions of the Beloved Disciple.

Counseling and Spiritual Direction
We offer counseling for marriage preparation and for those who are going through emotional or relational difficulties and we help people discern the Lord’s call in their lives.

Teaching
We have taught religion and theology classes at Catholic grade schools, high schools, and universities.

Speaking
We explain the faith and encourage people to live it more fully at conferences, retreats, professional development days, prayer groups, RCIA, ministry meetings, etc.

Pastoral Care
We engage directly and support lay initiatives in the following areas: hospital visits, jail and prison visits and correspondence, home blessings, anointing of the sick, feeding the hungry, clothing the poor, burying the dead, etc.

Pro-Life Activism
We have hosted archdiocesan Respect Life Masses as well as peaceful processions to and from the local abortion clinic to pray and witness to the sanctity of life.

Lay Training
We help lay Catholics grow in the skills, charisms, knowledge, and practical wisdom they need in order to build up the Body of Christ. In particular, we offer training in prayer ministry and group leadership through the Catholic Center for Charismatic Renewal.
Our community is flexible: we allow our members to engage in any kind of ministry as long as we have discerned it to be the will of the Holy Spirit.
